Peep Culture

In 2011, a never-ending spectacle of bodies and souls were baring everything for entertainment, self-betterment and fame on reality TV, Youtube, Facebook, and a new thing called Twitter.  Pop Culture had become Peep Culture where we traded privacy for notoriety and re-invented mass culture.  Author and host Hal Niedzviecki proposes that in the age of peep, the challenge isn’t to protect your private life, but how best to capitalize on it.  This CBC documentary captures a moment of a society in transition, asking one question: What does it all mean and how is it changing us?
